Although I didn't read the entire poem, I found the basic meaning intriguing. Browning imagines Ixion, the title character, rising out of hell after gaining insight into his wrongdoings. Although we don't know much about him, we know he's a prophet, a faithful man of God. His name means "My God is LORD".
