DIVINE WISDOM RESIDES IN THE HOUSE OF TRUTH
Charles Spurgeon says, “The book of Psalms instructs us in the use of wings as well as words. It sets us both mounting and singing”. During the study of Psalm 119, the HEARTstrong Morning Lifegroup were challenged to write a Psalm- their own song, Psalm 151. May you be blessed as we bring you these heartfelt songs over this month.
Divine Wisdom resides in the house of truth.
Once the residents neglected to keep it clean, their souls became infected with evil desires from the world.
A Shepherd knocked at their door during the night, but they preferred their sleep.
A few valiant servants heard His call and opened in fear the door wondering who could come during darkness.
He gently said to them, fear not because I am coming to give you instructions that could save your life.
Instantly their hearts rejoiced with hope because nobody had ever spoken to them with such love.
Contentment filled their hearts in the owner of the house’s presence, who personally took the time to visit them.
They all bowed their knees not as an order but in reverence in front of the Majesty.
For the first time, the meaningful knowledge of the truth in life could be appreciated.
Prayers and worship unknown to them until now became part of their life.
The Lord then said I must go, but I will leave you with My personal richness hiding in your heart that you could find at any time you remember me.
The servants started crying about His departure, but He said, do not worry, I will never abandon you until I return, and you know where to find me if needed.
They knew they had to obey His Word and humbly believed in Him until His return.
