And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” Acts 2:38 (ESV).

The Gospel is GOD’S GOOD News given to men*, to share with one another, by being filled with HOLY SPIRIT, WHO is better than “gold”.
Remembrance of 2000 years ago (approx)
When a great wind from Heaven did blow
Within a house filled with one accord
They waited there, for their Risen LORD.
They had come to worship,
During the Feast of Weeks
JESUS had earlier said
JESUS they loved and still did seek
Would visit them there: Their Living HEAD.
His disciples, and other women, men
Their wondering minds, with questions bare
Gathered, prayed, worshipped there
What now to do? What now to share?
A celebration, a Jubilee
Firstfruits to GOD did give
When, upon them, a mighty wind, did suddenly,
Fill the house, and bless them with Power to live.
The HOLY SPIRIT of JESUS came
Upon each of them, all gathered there
In Wind and in HOLY Flame
HIS PRESENCE, now to bear, to share.
Going out, they began to preach
Testifying to THE RISEN LAMB
Lifelong did they live and teach
About JESUS, SON of and GREAT I AM
Their lives were given unto death
With joy and courage when it came
For they were filled with HIS HOLY BREATH
And lived to share CHRIST JESUS NAME…
Miracles happened, in THE WORD record
As they spoke and shared about THE LORD
Each did hear in mother tongue
This PENTECOST, New LIFE begun.
Peter stood and spoke to them
The WORD of GOD, of prophet Joel,
GOD would visit on All of men
To bring salvation to every soul…
Not only men born in Abram’s line
But people of every tribe and kind
Children and the women too
Would learn of love and live, anew
They too, would wondrous miracles do…
He testified of THE ONE he loved
JESUS of Nazareth, sent from Heaven above
To earth to be THE SON of MAN.
And thus, redeem souls; throughout the land…
He spoke of JESUS life on earth
The PLAN of GOD for second birth
THE SON of GOD, given up and died
By lawless men, HE was crucified
HE gave HIS life to make GOD known
The FATHERS heart to all was shown
But death and grave could not hold HIM there
HE rose, undecayed, RESURRECTION share.
HE witnessed to many before HE left
Promising again, not to leave them bereft
That shortly, as HE previously shared and said
THE HOLY SPIRIT would come, and raise the dead.
New LIFE breathed into souls of men
So all could live and love again
Not bound by sin of Satan’s game
Not bound by guilt and constant shame
But Born Again, a pardoned soul
Growing in grace and becoming whole
Living for the glory of GOD above,
Living as HIS Child of Love, to love. ^ Selah and amen
PRAYER
“YOUR PRESENCE is LIFE, LOVE and LIBERTY
May I for YOU, YOUR GLORY be,
More of YOU and less of me
Until others, only YOU can see.
A witness here to souls of men
