AWE, GRATITUDE AND TRUST!

Charles Spurgeon says, “The book of Psalms instructs us in the use of wings as well as words. It sets us both mounting and singing”. During the study of Psalm 119, the HEARTstrong Morning Lifegroup were challenged to write a Psalm- their own song, Psalm 151. Gratitude
I’m so glad you are in my life! I can’t imagine you not being in it.
Your love is never-ending
You are my best friend and the best father ever and forever… how cool is that!
You are with me when I’m lonely, or I’m scared
You give me a spiritual hug when I ask for it…
You supply all my required needs, not my wants, just my needs which You give to me in abundance!
You discipline me when I need to be disciplined & it’s always for my own good (though at the time, I don’t always think so!)
You listen & You accept me…

Trust
You answer my prayers in Your time which is teaching me to wait (trust) upon You
You take me through trials to build up my character (I don’t always like them).
I’m learning to lean/depend on You more… bringing my problems to You and leaving them with You… I’m doing good, but it’s a work in progress.
An amazing thing happens when I hand over my stressful/anxious problems to You poof, the stress/anxiety leaves me.
Lord, I need You in my life to keep me balanced and on track, and You are the only one who can do that. I need to spend quiet time with You so we can talk or perhaps me to listen while You speak.
