Be Bold! Go for the goal!

“Since we have such hope, we are very bold:” 2 Corinthians 3:12  (ESV)

“Therefore, my brothers, whom i love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the LORD, my beloved:” Philippians. 4:1 (ESV)

“….in the call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS:” Philippians 3:14b and 12-17 (ESV)

Also, based on the story of Ananias, a disciple who was afraid, nevertheless obeyed: Acts 9: 10-19 (ESV)

I have seen and will redeem

Things are not as they seem

This is life; it’s not a dream! (fantasy)

SPIRIT and TRUTH, true worship is

People want their way to give  (people want to do their own thing)

From the first, an offering (Cain and Abel)

But I see the heart unclean.

First Fruits, reveal the truths

Desires of the heart and thus the roots

You cannot see with eyes of flesh

Only “in SPIRIT,”  dear one, that’s the test,

I alone can judge the heart (GOD ALONE)

Let judgments go, do your part.

Keep your eyes upon MY Face

Look to ME for Saving Grace.

Learn from ME, how to run this  race

Come up higher, let ME, take your place. (being “in HIM”)

See with MY eyes your suffering brother

Move in heart like a loving mother

Gratefully spend, give life to another

See ME in this poor, broken other.

Do not neglect MY HOLY WORD

Or be burdened by all that’s heard

Let ME direct a given day

Consistently look to ME and pray.

Hidden by ME, your mortal clay.

O dear child, you have come a long way

Simply continue, more, to trust and obey.

As close to ME, your LIVING BREATH

All through life and into death

Fear not the battle or the foe

For where you are, I too go.

I’VE been ahead and overcome

Believe it, child; the war is won

What was and is and is to come

The glorious wonder is already done!

Too much for mortal mind to know

So simply follow; my footsteps show

The WAY of life, through walking death

I AM GOD!  I give you breath.

As your body simply trusts to breathe

So too, trust dear soul;  love, believe,

I WHO, by MY WORD, did all conceive

Will give to all,  their desperate need.

Daily drink and drink and drink;  relieve

Thirst from the battle, drink deep and breathe

Be still; find REST.  Come. to ME,  Receive!

Prayer

“As YOU have always been, O GOD, BE my LORD!

May YOUR delight within me stored.

Be worship, pleasing, O GOD adored.

Keep teaching me to obey

I mortal, still, sometimes do stray

Burn up, every bit of mortal clay

In YOUR FAVOUR,  day by day

In  Glorious Grace, follow YOUR WAY”…… Amen
