The Vision Behind Heartstrong

Would you pray this prayer with me? Lord, give me eyes to see what you are doing. I want to see not just with my natural eyes but I want to be able to see and discern what is happening in the Spirit. Where I have fallen asleep, where I have become discouraged, where I have become complacent, where I have lost my way, would you awaken me to what you are doing in the world and within me.  In Jesus holy name, Amen.

I want to share a BOLD dream that God put on my heart that is equally exciting and far beyond what is possible in my own strength. As I have been praying about Heart Conference in light of our gathering restrictions the Lord has shown me what we are to do.  So here goes, as you read I want to invite you into an incredible journey of BOLDNESS. Early one morning the Lord gave me this word, it’s intense and exciting and you are a part of it.

It’s time to wake up and train for war. There is a sound like an alarm that is inviting us to awake from our slumber.  Do you hear it? There is a spiritual siren that is an invitation to awaken from mere survival, it’s an invitation to be a part of the greatest season of our lives. It’s not natural, it’s a call for our Spirit to awaken BOLDLY from its slumber and train for war. We must prepare for the greatest spiritual battle we have yet to see in our lifetime. Do you want in?  We must awaken in the dark and train. The time is now, tomorrow never comes. We have been given authority and all power to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the works of the enemy and nothing by any means can harm us. It’s time to wake from slumber and get in the game and get in line, stand firm, align to God’s word and stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters and fight in the spirit where the battle is raging over our souls. That’s right, this call is for brothers and sisters alike.

Can you hear the sound, can you hear the call rising from the distance? Calling you, inviting you to take up your cross and follow Jesus with all your heart. all your soul, all your mind and all your strength, to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. God, your Father invites you to join Him and all of heaven in pushing back the darkness as He makes all things new.  But there is a cost, you can come as you are but you won’t be able to stay as you are.  You see our enemy has an advantage, he is faithfully consistent, accusing, tempting, attacking, thwarting,  where we are inconsistent in our spiritual disciplines, obedience and commitment.

It’s time to lean into the discomfort that comes when you commit to training. We’re going to have to leave the comfort zones of our sin and strongholds so we can fully surrender to what Jesus wants to do in and through our lives. We must make a choice. We can choose our comfort or we can train and prepare. Light has already won, but we have a choice in the here and now, how much light we let in. Do not fear, God fights for you, God has already given us the promised land. Do you hear the call? It’s time to train for war.

Philippians 1: 27 – 30

Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. 28 Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to b saved, even by God himself. 29 For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. 30 We are in this struggle together…
